At the February 3rd Lenoir County Public Schools Board of Education meeting, students from the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program shared how the program is shaping their future careers. Serving over 2,000 students annually across 19 career pathways for grades 6-12, CTE provides hands-on learning and real-world experience.

Graduation season for Lenoir County Public Schools gets underway Wednesday when 44 members of the Class of 2022 at Lenoir County Early College High School receive their high school diplomas. The next night, 40 of them will be awarded associate degrees or certificates from Lenoir Community College.

This evening, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office issued this press release: This afternoon, Lenoir County Public Schools notified our Office of a school violence threat at E.B. Frink Middle School in La Grange. School Officials had immediately acted upon receiving the threat to identify the source. School staff and Deputies investigated and determined the threat to be a hoax after interviews with the source and others involved.
