Program to support caregivers during the holidays
The Alzheimer’s Association will host an educational program, “Caregiving During the Holidays,” on Dec. 4 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library, located at 510 N. Queen St.
The program aims to address the challenges caregivers face during the holiday season, offering strategies to manage stress, adjust expectations, and create more meaningful holiday plans. Attendees will also learn ways to support caregivers and their loved ones during this busy time.
Following the presentation, participants are invited to stay and create cards for local caregivers and individuals living with dementia.
To register, call 800-272-3900 or 252-527-7066 ext. 127, or visit tinyurl.com/kinstoncare.
The program is presented in partnership with local organizations and is free to the public.
