Officers respond to disturbance with a firearm, make arrest
The Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:
Officers from A-Squad responded to the area of E New Bern Rd for a subject causing a disturbance with a firearm. Officers located the offender a short distance from the area with assistance of witnesses. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the offender, Chuck Griffin. A probable cause search conducted and officers located narcotics and a concealed firearm. Griffin was arrested and placed in the LC.

- Possession of Firearm by Felon
- Felony Carry Concealed Gun
- Felony Possession of Schedule II
- Possession of Schedule IV
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
