Obituary: Suzanne Howard Noble
Suzanne Howard “Sue” Noble, 95, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Greendale Forest in Snow Hill. She was an extraordinary caretaker who looked after everyone in her family. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed farming and fishing with her husband she affectionately referred to as Papa Lloyd. Sue loved taking care of her flowers, or “blossoms” as she called them, and she cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and grand dogs.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Noble and daughter, Susan “Cookie” Turner; as well as 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her son, Hal Murphy and wife Jennifer; daughter, Penny Murphy; grandchildren, Marie White and husband Daniel, Casey Turner, Gray Murphy; great-grandchildren, Turner White, Ella Grace White and Silas Keith White; and sister, Ida Mae Creech, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Pink Hill Funeral Home, with visitation following the service. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Daniel and Marie White.
