On Wednesday, Dec. 21, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm call at Faith Fellowship Church (2278 Pauls Path Road, Kinston). On Saturday, November 26th, at approximately 8:45 pm, Deputies of the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office responded to UNC Lenoir Health Care in reference to a 6-year-old male child that was unresponsive. The child was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

After experiencing some mechanical issues, an international flight (a chartered plane) landed at the Global TransPark in Kinston this afternoon. The flight originated in Antigua and was bound for New York. The flight landed safely at the GTP; there were no injuries on the flight.

LA GRANGE — A La Grange man is dead following a shooting at a convenience store on Tuesday night.
On Monday, Feb. 22, at approximately 9 p.m., Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputies responded to the Stop N Go convenience store, 109 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, in La Grange for reports of a shooting. Deputies arrived and found one male subject deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
