Ruby Frances Davis Allison, age 90, left this earth in the early morning of Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Spring Arbor of Kinston following a brief illness. A service to celebrate Frances’ life will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, March 16th, at Spilman Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. H. Powell Dew, Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends and extended relatives immediately following the service at the church.
Ms. Carolyn Rouse Newcomb, age 76, passed away Tuesday evening, February 27th, 2024, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville. Mrs. Lewellyn Davis Bradshaw, best known as “Lew”, passed away Monday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be held graveside 11 AM Thursday, September 21st, at the Westview Cemetery with Reverend Glenn Hill officiating. The family will greet friends and extended relatives immediately following the service at the cemetery and other times at Mrs. Bradshaw’s residence.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 19th, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with Pastor Hank Jarman officiating. Interment will follow at the Westview Cemetery in Kinston. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home of Ms. Bradicich.
