On Independence Day, 23 new U.S. citizens were sworn in at a naturalization ceremony held at Harmony Hall. The event was organized by the Lenoir County Historical Association and presided over by The Honorable James C. Dever III, a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
More than 20 people took the oath of allegiance to become U.S. citizens at Harmony Hall Thursday morning.
