Bryan Hanks named 2025 Lighthouse Award winner

Lenoir/Greene United Way hosted their “Great American Summer” event on Wednesday, July 16 at Kinston Country Club.  The event celebrated the nonprofit organizations’ community partners, local donors, and their service to United Way.

In addition, the 5th annual “Lighthouse Award” was presented to a legacy donor for his stewardship and longtime support of United Way.  The 2025 Lenoir/Greene United Way Lighthouse Award was awarded to Bryan Hanks.  Mr. Hanks has supported our United Way for 23 years as a dedicated board member and community champion.  Lenoir/Greene United Way Executive Director, Molly Taylor shared this in her presentation: “Bryan, we honor you today for your incredible service and we want you to know, you are our Lighthouse! Your positive light on our community is a beacon of trust that does not waver, and we are so proud to know you.”
