South Lenoir’s Rachel Noble named NC State Park Scholar

South Lenoir High School senior Rachel Noble has been named a Class of 2029 NC State Park Scholar, a prestigious honor recognizing academic excellence, leadership, service, and character.

The Park Scholarships program, established in 1996, is one of North Carolina State University’s most competitive merit-based scholarships. It provides full tuition, fees, and enrichment opportunities to students who demonstrate outstanding potential to make a lasting impact on their communities.

South Lenoir High School celebrated Noble’s achievement in a social media post, calling her a “wonderful gal” and cheering her on with an enthusiastic “Go Pack!”

Noble joins an elite group of scholars who will embark on a four-year journey of leadership and service at NC State.
