Help Wanted: EMS Division Chief (EMS Operations Manager)
As a member of Emergency Services with Lenoir County Government, you can make a difference! The Emergency Medical Services Division is seeking candidates for an EMS Division Chief (EMS Operations Manager). Candidates are responsible for the management and operational functions of the Emergency Medical Services Division. Candidates for employment will work closely with the Emergency Services Director on short and long-range budget preparations, development of operational structure and staffing, and oversight of daily Emergency Medical operations. Employees in this class are subject to hazards associated by being a medical service provider. This position is considered essential and requires reporting to work for inclement weather and as other needs arise within the division.

Minimum Requirements:
• Associates’ Degree with coursework in Emergency Medical Services; five years or more of active EMS
Management/Supervisory Work
• Unrestricted NC Office of EMS Paramedic credential with ability to pass System Boarding requirements
as set by the Medical Director
• Credentialed as an NCOEMS Level II Paramedic Instructor (or obtain within one year)
• Completion of NIMS ICS 100, 200, 300, 700, and 800 certifications
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
