Amounts of both substances, along with weighing and packaging materials consistent with street-level narcotics sales were discovered.
Powell was arrested and charged with:
• Felony possession with intent to sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance
• Felony possession with intent to sell/deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance
• Felony maintaining a vehicle for sale/delivery of a controlled substance
• Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Powell was booked into the Lenoir County Jail under no bond due to being on pre-trial release for previous charges.
