Deep run man arrested on multiple felony charges
A Deep Run man was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 23 on multiple felony charges in a case that started one month earlier.
On Sept. 23, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 2900 block of Kelly Road on a breaking and entering call.
LCSO detectives in the General Investigation Division (GID) developed information on the case and obtained an arrest warrant for Daniel Lee Cruse for felony breaking and/or entering and larceny after breaking and/or entering.
The LCSO’s GID, along with assistance from the Street Crimes and Rapid Response (SCARR) team, arrested Cruse on the outstanding warrant in the area of Detas Fields. Cruse was transported to the Lenoir County Magistrate’s Office for processing and received a $15,000 secured bond.
