Miss Neuse Scholarship Pageant Organization announces 2023 pageant

The Miss Neuse Scholarship Pageant Organization is pleased to announce the 2023 pageant will be held February 25 at Kinston Lenoir County Performing Arts Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. Reid Taylor will serve as director for the 44th year. Mandy Odom is the choreographer and Diane Howard serves as Pageant Chairperson.

Luke Vail will emcee the program and thirteen young ladies will be competing in the following areas of competition: Interview which counts 30%, Creative Expression 15%, Talent 40% and Gown 15%. Proceeds from the pageant will go toward scholarship for the contestants and local community based non-profit organizations.

Miss Neuse 2022, Gabby Smith will relinquish her title February 25th, 2023 at Kinston-­Lenoir County Performing Arts Center. Gabby is the daughter of Kiki and Darryl Tindley. She is a Junior at Kinston High School.

Special Entertainment will be provided by Miss Neuse 2022, Gabby Smith,

Adyson Whaley, Lenoir County Distinguished Young Woman, Samantha Warren, Miss Neuse 2008 and Miss Neuse Dancers.

Miss Neuse Scholarship Pageant is celebrating 44 years. Doors will open at 6 and Program will begin at 7. Tickets may be purchased from any contestant.
