Farmer's Market update for January 7, 2023

Farmer's Market update for January 7, 2023

Kettle Style Snacks will continue to be at the Farmers Market through the winter months. Rodney will be on site from 9 o'clock until sundown on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, selling pork skins, pork rinds, fried peanuts AND those very delicious funnel cakes.

Come down to support our local vendors.

The market will re open on a full time basis when the growing season begins, and the  strawberries are ripe and juicy ... probably in April. As you know, the exact time is up to Mother Nature.

If you or a friend is a crafter of handmade goods, an  artist  or a baker with an inspected kitchen or an interest in cooking in our  new Annex kitchen, please contact Pat at plj@suddenlink.net. We are always looking for new vendors.

Neuse News is a locally-owned small business startup in downtown Kinston. Our goal is to provide free, hyper-local news to Lenoir, Greene and Jones counties. The kind of news our grandparents read in a format fit for today's times.

We provide this by having supportive advertisers and we encourage you to click on their ads, shop with them, and eat with them. Every bit of financial support is important to help us sustain free, hyper-local news.

Please consider supporting Neuse News with as little as $5 one-time or via a monthly option. Every little bit helps us, help you.
