LCPS schedules hearing screenings next week
Lenoir County Public Schools has scheduled district-wide hearing screenings on Aug. 31, Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 for all first-, second- and third-grade students.
Parents who do not want their child’s hearing screened must notify their child’s teacher in writing by Wednesday morning, Aug. 31.
In an effort to conserve resources, parents will only be notified if their child does not pass the screening. All students who do not pass or who were absent on the screening day will receive a follow-up screening by the LCPS audiologist.
