Three North Lenoir students are headed to the Governor’s School. North Lenoir High School shared through their Facebook page that Courtney Humphrey, Austin Williams, and Dakotah Lane were accepted into the Governor’s School. Courtney Humphrey is going to be focusing on Social Science. Austin Williams will focus on vocal music, and Dakotah Lane will focus on natural science.
“CONGRATULATIONS to the following students for being accepted into Governor’s School this summer. The Governor’s School of North Carolina is the oldest statewide summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students in the nation. This is quite an accomplishment and reflects the hard work they have put in, both in class and extracurricular.”
