Duke Energy Power outages near Skinner's Bypass

Duke Energy reported a power outage on their website affecting approximately 2,092 customers around Kinston, including Skinner’s Bypass. The cause was not listed, and the estimated time of restoration is 5:00 pm.

Highway Patrol first received a call around 10:00 am this morning from a citizen in the area. NC DOT went out to handle traffic control. At this time, no traffic incidents have been reported due to the outage.
