LCC's Casino Night welcomes Bryan Hanks as celebrity dealer
The Lenoir Community College Foundation is excited to welcome back Bryan Hanks of The Bryan Hanks Show on Kinston’s sports talk station, 960 The Bull as a celebrity dealer at Casino Night. The event will be held on January 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Lenoir County Shrine Club. Tables open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. Proceeds from the event benefit the LCC scholarship program.
Hanks has lived in Kinston since 2002 and fell in love with LCC and all the folks who work with the college. He said he loves LCC because it is a school that truly believes in giving back to both students and the community. He has worked closely with LCC dating back to his days working with the Kinston Free Press and Neuse News.
As for his own experience at casinos, Hanks has been to Las Vegas a few times and claims he is an outstanding bluffer. “My face is like granite, so I don’t have a tell!”
On any given day, you may find him calling games for the Down East Wood Ducks or Kinston High School’s basketball team, hosting his radio show on WRNS 960-AM or hanging out with his girlfriend, Linda and his cool dog, Molly, watching sports at home.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available for purchase online at www.lenoircc.edu/casino or by contacting Katherine Pearson, Development Coordinator, in the LCC Foundation office at 252-233-6843.
