Join best-selling author Kristy Woodson Harvey at the BBQ Fest on the Neuse for a pre-launch celebration of her newest novel, The Southern Side of Paradise, Saturday, May 4 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. under the Farmers Market Tent.
The third and final installment of Harvey’s Peachtree Bluff series officially releases May 7, but advanced copies of The Southern Side of Paradise will be available for purchase at the Farmers Market before they hit the shelves this week.
Copies of her previous novels, Dear Carolina, Lies and Other Acts of Love, as well as the first two novels of the Peachtree Bluff series, Slightly South of Simple and The Secret to Southern Charm, will also be available.
The Southern Side of Paradise will take readers back to the Southern town of Peachtree Bluff as the story of the Murphy women, a trio of sisters, Caroline, Sloane and Emerson, and their mother, Ansley, continues to unfold as a long-held family secret threatens their mother-daughter relationships.
Told in alternating perspectives between Emerson and Ansley, The Southern Side of Paradise, follows Emerson as she navigates a life that may be different than that which her fiancé envisions and learns to cope with an exposed family secret that leaves her questioning everything she knows.

A native of Salisbury, Harvey joined the Kinston community with her husband, Kinston native, Dr. William Harvey of Harvey & Associates Family Dentistry. They divide their time between Kinston and Beaufort, N.C., and have one son.
