Rhue completes UNC School of Government course
CHAPEL HILL — On Dec. 7, Nathan Rhue, Director of Planning, Inspections and Safety for the Town of La Grange, successfully completed the Leading for Results program at the UNC School of Government as a Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) Fellow.
According to a press release from the UNC School of Government, out of 140 applicants, Rhue was identified as one of the 40 "emerging leaders in local government".
The Leading for Results program focuses on organizational leadership. Participants were introduced to models of leadership as well as management and leadership tools and strategies.
During the course, LGFCU Fellows had the opportunity to gain insight into their individual leadership styles and strengths and practice ways to increase their effectiveness within their organizations.
