Lenoir County Sheriff Jackie Rogers is proud to unveil its brand-new DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) vehicle, a dynamic addition to the mission of empowering youth and fostering strong community connections.
This custom-designed vehicle, featuring eye-catching graphics and bold DARE branding, is more than just a mode of transportation; it serves as a mobile symbol of the LCSO’S commitment to educating children about the dangers of drug use, violence and risky behaviors.
The new DARE. vehicle will play a pivotal role in community outreach, attending school events, parades and public gatherings. It will also support the ongoing DARE curriculum taught in local schools, which equips students with critical life skills to resist peer pressure and make informed, healthy decisions.
