Lenoir County Farmer’s Market update for Saturday, September 23, 2023. The Market open between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm Tuesday and Saturday.

Enter your favorite casserole in the casserole cook-off and win a prize. For more information, call Kelly Tyndall at the Extension Office. The number is 252-527-2191. Only three places in each category will be paid. Every entry will receive a ribbon.

Entries should be presented to the director at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Judging will begin at 5:00 p.m. Winners will be announced following judging.
October 10th. 10:30 Holly White, a dietician at UNC Lenoir, will share information on the health benefits of incorporating local produce into your meal plan. This Tuesday, the focus will be on apples and cranberries. Listen as Holly talks and receive a coupon worth $5.00 to be used to buy fruits and vegetables at the market.
TC Smith Produce
Open on Tuesday and Saturday
8 am until 2 pm
TC Produce will have cabbage collards, sweet potatoes, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, cabbage, cantaloupe, grapes, raw peanuts, and a wide variety of jams, jellies, and salsa. They will also have their frozen collards; just thaw, heat, and eat!

Gwen will be back with her goodies on the 30th.
TJ Designs
Teri will have her charming home accessories and crafts on display as well. Be sure to stop by to admire (and buy!) her handiwork.
Kettle Style Snacks
Kettle Style Snacks will have pork skins, fried peanuts, and delicious funnel cakes. If you haven't tried one yet, do yourself a favor and "just do it"!
B and B Eggs and Crafts
Sandra will be back next week with those delicious farm-fresh eggs and her seasonal crafts. For local honey, see the market manager in the office.
B & B Eggs and Crafts will be at the market this Saturday with fall and Christmas-designed crafts and those wonderful farm-fresh eggs. Sandra will also have LOCAL wildflower honey. Try some! It is delicious and has all the local pollen that gives it the health benefits related to allergies.
