Amazon, United Way Donate to Local Shelters
Amazon’s local Kinston plant and Lenoir/Greene United Way teamed up to donate personal care products to three local shelters. Donations of men’s and women’s undergarments, toiletries, socks and cleansing wipes were given to Greene County Interfaith in Snow Hill, SAFE and the Friends of the Homeless shelter…a donation valued at over $1,000.
“Amazon is a wonderful corporate citizen and partner with Lenoir/Greene United Way. We were grateful to be able to assist with this donation to our local shelters who give so faithfully to individuals that need it most,” stated Molly Taylor, Lenoir/Greene United Way Executive Director.
