Lenoir County, NC – Fire Fatality – Update
The victim of this weekend’s fatal fire in Lenoir County has been identified as 54 year old, Faith LaFlamme. Investigators are awaiting medical examiner autopsy results to determine exact cause of death. The fire appears to have been accidental however, the exact cause is still under investigation.

Just before 0600 am this morning, Lenoir County 911 received a call reporting a residential fire in LaGrange, NC. Fire department crews arrived on scene to find smoke and flames showing from a double-wide mobile home. During their primary search, firefighters found one victim deceased inside the residence. Fire Investigators from Lenoir County Emergency Services and Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office are currently on scene to begin determining the fire’s cause. Units from the NC State Fire Marshal’s Office and SBI are also on scene to assist Lenoir County Investigators. The victim’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
Responding departments included LaGrange Fire Department, North Lenoir Fire & Rescue, Lenoir County EMS.
