Kinston Police make arrest in breaking and entering and larceny near Carolina Ave

According to a press release from the Kinston Police Department, on January 22, 2019 Kinston Police took a report of a breaking and entering and larceny that involved the theft of an array of items including firearms in the area of Carolina Ave. With the assistance of the Lenoir County Sherriff’s Office arrests were made on Jamie Urbanski, age 42 of Kinston and Michael Pike, age 35 of La Grange, for their involvement in the crimes. The investigations also lead to the recovery of a firearm, ammunition, and a security system that were stolen.

Jamie Urbanski was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering. She was arrested on January 22, 2019 and placed in the Lenoir County Jail with a $25,000 secure bond. Michael Pike was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Larceny of Firearm, and Possession of Firearm by Felon. He was taken into custody on January 23, 2019 and placed in the Lenoir County Jail under an $80,000 secure bond.
