The LCPS Child Nutrition Department is currently planning for its Summer Feeding Program and is soliciting camps and other summer organized activities that would benefit from this free breakfast and lunch program. Camp leaders should contact Chrissie Chadwick or Danelle Moore Smith with Lenoir County Public Schools at 252-527-1109.

These are the sites, dates and times currently scheduled:

• Northeast Elementary, June 10-July 31, 7:30-8:30 a.m. breakfast, 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. lunch

• Contentnea-Savannah K-8 School, July 8-Aug. 1, 7:45-8:45 a.m. breakfast, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. lunch

• Northwest Elementary, July 8-Aug. 1, 8-8:30 a.m. breakfast, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. lunch

• Southwood Elementary, July 8-Aug. 1, 7:30-8 a.m. breakfast, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. lunch

• Pink Hill Elementary, July 8-Aug. 1, 7:30-8 a.m. breakfast, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. lunch

If there is sufficient demand, sites other than those listed may be added. An early response from camps and other organizations that would like to be a part of the Summer Feeding Program is a great help in planning.
